I'm a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), specialising in Biodiversity Net Gain. I founded Cosdon Consulting to do this work the way I think it should be done; by a senior specialist, from first brief to final submission, with nothing handed down to someone still learning the metric.

Across my career I've delivered BNG assessments and habitat bank allocation on projects ranging from single-unit residential schemes to large-scale habitat banks. My focus has always been the detail: metric accuracy, sound data analysis, and the judgement to give the right advice for the outcome a site actually needs; not just a number that clears a threshold.

When a project needs additional capacity or a specialist discipline, I bring in trusted associates I've worked with and vouch for. What I don't do is put your project in the hands of a junior and call it senior work.
